What is Leca?
Light Expanded Clay Aggregate, or Leca, are spherical clay pebbles that are designed to be reused. When mixed with grow medium, the PH neutral, reusable Leca’s shape and porousness create pockets of air. Aeration ensures oxygen/water balance and increases overall porosity and drainage ability.
How can I ensure continued growing success?
Our coco grow mix is a great starter grow medium. Certain plants may require increased drainage and nutrients. Consider supplementing our blend with other grow mediums like wood chips, perlite, sand, vermiculite, coffee grounds or charcoal.
